Barcode Breakdown Privacy Policy

Barcode Breakdown does not collect, store or share any personal data.

Everything stays on your iPhone. Barcodes are read and decoded on the device. Nothing you scan, import or type is sent to us or to anyone else.
Camera and photos. The camera is used only to read barcodes while the scanner is open. Photos, screenshots and PDFs you choose to import are read on the device and not uploaded.
Scan history is saved only on your device. You can delete it at any time in the app (History > Clear History), and it’s removed when you delete the app.
No accounts, ads, analytics or tracking. The app contains no third-party analytics, advertising or tracking code.
Links. If you tap a link in a result (for example, a web search for a product number), it opens in your browser, and that website’s own privacy policy applies.

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
